Sessions must have a minimum of 10 seats filled or the class will be canceled.  *

This new course provides an overview of the new functionality available in ArcGIS 8.3 including Geodatabase topology, advanced editing, linear referencing, ArcScanTM, ArcPadR integration, and disconnected editing.  With Geodatabase topology, participants will learn how to build spatial rules into GIS data to produce improved models of the real world.  They will also learn how to build and manage data that occurs along linear features.  Class participants will be shown how to use ArcScan to create vector data from raster data, such as a scanned map, more accurately and efficiently than traditional methods.  They will also be taught how to integrate ArcPad with ArcGIS and use disconnected editing to edit data in the field and then incorporate those changes into their main data holdings.
