ArcGIS Desktop 10 Associate Exam Prep
 
  The Esri Technical Certification Program recognizes qualified individuals who are proficient in best practices for using Esri software. The ArcGIS Desktop Associate Certification means the person has shown they have a basic understanding of GIS and ArcGIS concepts and can apply processes to workflows. They are also skilled at using ArcGIS Desktop to visualize, manage, and analyze geospatial data.

This 16 hour class will help prepare ArcGIS Users to take and pass the ArcGIS Desktop Associate Exam. The class was developed by one of Keck & Wood’s Esri Certified ArcGIS Desktop Associates with input from several other ArcGIS Certified Associates and GIS Instructors.

  Prerequisites
  This class has no required prerequisites. However the ArcGIS Desktop Associate Certification is targeted for Ar-cGIS 10 Desktop users with the equivalent of two or more years experience using ArcGIS software.

  Instructor
  Tripp Corbin, MCP, CFM, GISP – Tripp is the Vice President of GIS and IT services for Keck & Wood, Inc. He has over 20 years of surveying, mapping and GIS related experience. Most of his experience has been providing services to small and mid-sized City and County Governments throughout the Southeast. During his career, Tripp has used an array of software including AutoCAD, Microstation, ArcView, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, MapGuide and more. Tripp has been an Esri Authorize/Certified Trainer since 2003. He has taught over 650 students during that time and consistently receives high marks from his students. In addition to being an Esri Certified Trainer, Tripp has earned several others certifications including GISP, CFM, CTT+, and most recently Esri ArcGIS Desktop Certified Associate. He is a very active member of the GIS Community with memberships in GA URISA, FL URISA, URISA International, GITA, SHRUG and many other professional organizations.
